Already started my third but these are a lot lighter than my usual choices; I went for refreshing ones just because of the heat we’re getting. Also, I’m playing the hell out of Overwatch tonight with F1 and Le Mans taking up most of the weekend.

Now I just have to order dinner since I can't drive anywhere which I'm not looking forward to since my indecision always makes it difficult.

Looks like a good time.

Also, now I’m wondering how many Oppos are Canadian.

I haven’t tried that one yet; the original is the only cider I enjoy.

From what I’ve seen on Oppo there’s a fair amount in Ontario alone, mostly around Ottawa and Toronto, as far as I know.

Off this weekend, and the SigOther is in Japan, so it’s all stuff she would not like, to get it out of the way - horror movies, car shows, and catching up on Orphan Black (which I’m rapidly losing interest in ...). And vodka tonics.

There aren’t a whole lot of us in Ottawa (maaaybe seven or ten, if we really push it), although there are a fuckton down in the GTA. There are a large amount in Edmonton, too, and a few in Montreal, and then everywhere else there are just scattered members inbetween.

Depending on how long it has been since you last had alone time, it sounds like it could be a packed weekend! I’m guessing SO is in Japan on business since you’re at home?

You just described Canada’s entire population.

Yeah, it’s business - nearly 12 years into the relationship, I finally did Kyoto and Tokyo in March. Great food, polite people, 185mph Shinkansen, spotless and reliable public transportation. The United States needs to catch up. Amtrak ain’t doin’ it for anybody.

I’ve always had a problem with ‘flavoured’ products, especially when they are meant to be made of the thing they are flavoured with/or.

I get that there is other fruits of which they make cider (I love Kopparberg pear cider), but apple cider is apple cider, not apple flavoured cider.

I’m generally a Magners, Stella Artois, Kopparberg and Bulmers cider in the summer and Westons and Strongbow in the winter.

From the thumbnail alone, I was thinking that looks like a group of drinks I would enjoy. I actually have a couple of 6 packs of mixed Muskokas. They’re pretty tasty. I grew up not too far from where that’s brewed.

Detour is my favourite Muskoka brewery beer - I enjoy the odd Mad Tom or even Double Mad Tom but don’t drink them often because I find them to be incredibly hoppy.

My usual Mill St. choice is usually Tankhouse Ale for it’s strength in flavour and alcohol content.
